Positive Thinking 2021
New Year, new goals, yes, goals. We're not doing 'resolutions' because they last as long as it take to find out how to spell it. I made a 'resolution' years ago, don't make a resolution! By January end, it's over. So, we're going with 'New Year Goals.' Did you meet your goal? Asked at the end of the year. Yes, you have 'all year' to meet your goal. So, there you go. This year, I personally want you to work on 'one goal' if no other. No, not a diet, stop cussing, get in shape, go to the gym, none of that bull shit, I'm talking about self help. Now, I'm a pretty positive person, at all levels. Oh, I get pissed, upset, etc. (drive a truck) but, think positive, as much and as often as you can. Life is too short to let the small shit get you all worked up. Things that get you really pissed, ask this question: can I personally change it? If no, let it go. You're letting things out of your control, control your attitude. No, say no to negative. You, we, are much better than that. With all the bull shit going on these days, again, ask yourself, is it going to change or affect me personally?
So, this year, the challenge (and I hate a challenge), let's think positive. We can do it. Try this, for every ONE negative think of THREE positives. We can do this. Count your blessings. You got up (I hope) food on the table, job, friends, family, candles, wine, of course wine. Think positive. These days with all the social media bull shit, censorship, (of course I'm talking about nudity not politics) hate, negative opinions, work bull shit, etc. It's all good. I often say the Serenity Prayer. 'Lord give me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, give me the courage/strength to change the things I can, and give me wisdom to know the difference.' Helps in my day to day life. Of course, I'm a positive kinda person. Try the challenge, report back. Life is too short to sweat the bull shit. Think positive. You're too good to be negative.
God loves you, and he knows I try. Be safe my friends, and thanks for being a part. Think positive. Tim.
